Dining at The Flat Rock Bistro Food is served in our restaurant and bar between 12:00pm and 9:00pm. Including evening meals between 6.00pm and 9.00pm.
Please be aware that we do not automatically reserve a table in our restaurant for guests. Should you wish to book a table in our restaurant or have a specific time in mind for your evening meal please contact our reservations team. For guests booking upon check in, times and tables are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Reservations can be made online for the Flatrock Bistro by following the button below.
Pets At The Gwbert Hotel At The Gwbert Hotel we allow pets in a limited number of our bedrooms. This is subject to availability and prior approval by the hotel and unfortunately, we are unable to provide special consideration for guests who arrive at the hotel with their pet without prior arrangement. There is also an additional charge for this.
Please be aware that, although pets are tolerated in our bedrooms, reception area and terraces, they are not permitted in the public areas of the hotel including the restaurant and bar. We also ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times within the hotel and its grounds. Dogs may be walked on a lead in our carpark and on the designated footpath. A charge of £10 for the first evening and £5 per night thereafter will be added to your room account (Certified Guide Dogs are exempt from this charge).
We ask that you accompany your pet at all times while staying in the hotel. Pets may not be left in the guest room unattended, should remain off the furniture and in their own bedding. However, please be aware that should you leave your pet unattended in your bedroom, your room may not be serviced. Any property damage caused by a pet will be the pet owner’s responsibility and the appropriate charges will be applied to your room account. Any pet fouling will be the pet owner’s responsibility and the appropriate charges will be applied to your room account if it is not disposed of correctly. Pet waste disposal bins are located across the outdoor areas and baggies are available at reception for your convenience.
Please note that for your safety, there is CCTV coverage across the outdoor areas.
Deposits and Cancellations Please note that if you have made your reservation through a third party, such as Booking.com, Expedia, the deposit or/and cancellation terms sent to you by them supersede those stated below.
All bookings must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card. A non-refundable deposit to the value of the first night stay will be deducted from your payment card at the time of booking, remaining accommodation charges will be automatically charged on the morning of arrival. Should you wish to change your payment method for the remaining accommodation charges, please let us know at least one day prior to arrival. Any outstanding balance is payable on departure from the hotel. Any charges left outstanding after departure will be charged to the credit or debit card on your reservation.
We will keep your deposit for six months for a future booking at the company’s discretion, providing you cancel more than 72 hours before arrival, excluding all bank holidays including Christmas and New Year. Cancellations received within 72 hours prior to arrival, or failure to cancel your booking will result in full payment being charged to the debit/credit card used to secure the reservation.
For Bank Holiday, Christmas and New Years Eve bookings, separate deposit, booking terms & conditions may apply.
We strongly recommend that you have appropriate travel insurance in place should you need to cancel as no refunds are given under any circumstances.
Should The Gwbert Hotel & Flat Rock Bistro be unable to fulfil the service booked, a hotel gift voucher to the value of payments made or alternative dates will be offered.
